Sport at The Apollo university is fantastic because of the huge variety of opportunities for everyone taking part. Students at TAU are free to find a level that suits them and train under sports coach or find friends who are at a similar level. The department strives to inculcate appropriate values and qualities required to develop sports persons and physical education professional at various levels. The main objective of the Directorate of Sports is to foster sportsman spirit inculcating sense of discipline, co-operation, social harmony, integrity and fitness among the players. Directorate of Sports feels concerned about the health and fitness of Apollo university employees also and organizes a physical fitness festival for them every year. Employees participate in games like, volleyball, table-tennis, badminton, cricket, tug of war and athletics. The participation of the University employees is always encouraging. It has proved to be a very useful scheme for the university employees.
