The Apollo University, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, celebrated National Education Day on 11th November 2022

The Apollo University, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, celebrated National Education Day on 11th November 2022 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Education Minister of independent India, Moulana Abul Kalam Azad. While inaugurating the event, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of TAU, Prof. H. Vinod Bhat, said, “Azad had a profound impact on many sectors of life, especially in the field of education.” He reiterated the role played by Azad in sensitizing the people of India to the importance of higher education. The event also saw participation from students in competitions such as essay writing, where Raga Trisha Chowdary, a student of BSc. Optometry Technology won the first prize. Registrar, Prof. M. Potharaju, Deans, Prof. Mariappan, Prof. Sunil Kumar and other faculty also participated.
