CPR Hands-on Training Session: One Step to Save a Life

We are delighted to announce that The department of allied health sciences has succefully conducted the CPR training program at Apollo University. From March 4th to March 7th, a total of 105 students participated in this invaluable initiative aimed at equipping our community with life-saving skills.

The CPR training program, conducted over four days, was meticulously designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Led by experienced instructors Miss. Anwesha Paul( lecturer from EMT program) and Mr. Shafi Sheikh( Lecturer from AOT program). The sessions covered essential techniques for responding to cardiac emergencies, including proper chest compressions, rescue breathing, and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

Participants ranged from various academic disciplines and backgrounds, reflecting the diverse and inclusive nature of our university community. Through interactive demonstrations, practical exercises, and simulated scenarios, students gained the confidence and competence to effectively intervene in emergency situations.

This initiative underscores Apollo University’s commitment to promoting health, safety, and well-being among its students. By fostering a culture of preparedness and empowerment, we strive to create a campus environment where individuals are equipped with the skills and knowledge to respond effectively to medical emergencies.
