Seminar on Healthcare Technology organized by School of Management, TAU

School of Management of The Apollo University, Chittoor, AP has organized a one-day seminar on ‘Healthcare Technology’ on 15th April 2024 (Monday). Dr. H. Vinod Bhat, the Vice-Chancelor of the university inaugurated the seminar. Dr. Bhat has highlighted the role of technology in hospitals and stated that technology can improve patient care and improve hospital efficiency. As the chief guest, Prof. B. Raja Shekhar, Senior Professor of Management, at Hyderabad Central University, explained that technology plays an important role in the field of healthcare operations management.

Furthermore, he advised students of the MBA Hospital and Healthcare Management program to improve their technical skills to be successful healthcare administrators. Dr. Sridhar Muni, the Chief Operating Officer of Aster Narayanadri Hospital, Tirupati, provided an overview of the hospital’s turnaround strategies and technology. Dr. GVRK Acharyulu from HCU, Dr. Prabakar K, Visiting Professor, and Dr. Prem Anand from Apollo Tele Health presented valuable insights regarding healthcare technology at the seminar. Prof. Potharaju, Registrar, Shri. Naresh Reddy, COO, Dr. Ramaiah, Dean of Management, Dr. Praneeth, and Dr. Shahanaz were part of the seminar. Apart from the MBA Hospital and Healthcare students of Apollo University, students from various fields including technology, health sciences, pharmacy, nursing, and medicine attended the seminar.”
