From Seeds of Interest to a Thriving Career: The Journey of Tejeswani

I am Tejeswani, and my passion for understanding the human mind truly flourished during my Master’s in Clinical
Psychology at The Apollo University, Chittoor (2022–2024). My fascination began with the complexity of the brain—how
this relatively small organ governs the entire body and shapes human behavior, with each brain being as unique as a
fingerprint.
During my time at the university, I specialized in clinical psychology and actively participated in departmental
events, both as a participant and organizer, to promote mental health awareness. These experiences fostered a
culture of breaking down stigmas and cultivating understanding, significantly boosting my confidence and deepening
my love for psychology. My curiosity about mental disorders was further nurtured through hands-on experience in the
university’s psychiatric ward, where I worked alongside a dedicated team. Engaging in assessments, case studies, and
counseling allowed me to develop a holistic perspective on mental health care. A pivotal month-long internship at
Apollo Hospitals, Mumbai, broadened my understanding of real-world clinical practice and reinforced my academic
learning. The comprehensive training and unwavering support I received at The Apollo University provided a solid
foundation for both my personal and professional growth.

Following my Master’s, I began my career as a Behavioral Therapist at Rising Sun Child Development Centre in
Hyderabad. In this role, I work extensively with neurodivergent children and those with behavioral challenges. The
heartfelt connections I build with the children and the positive feedback from their parents inspire me to continue
striving for meaningful change in their lives.
Looking back, I am deeply grateful to The Apollo University and its exceptional psychology department. The
invaluable guidance and mentorship I received played a crucial role in shaping me into the professional I am today,
nurturing both my knowledge and compassion.

Ultimately, I believe psychology extends beyond the treatment of mental disorders—it empowers us to see the world
with greater positivity, appreciate the beauty of life, and develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and others.

I am Muppidi Aravindkumar, a proud postgraduate of M.Sc. Clinical Psychology from Apollo University, Chittoor
(2022-2024). My journey in psychology began with a deep curiosity about human behavior, which evolved into a
passionate career in mental health.
During my time at Apollo University, I specialized in Clinical and Counselling Psychology and actively engaged in
academic and practical training. The university provided me with invaluable knowledge, hands-on experience, and
mentorship, shaping my professional growth. I gained expertise in psychometric assessments and learned to address
psychological issues in both children and psychiatric patients. Additionally, I honed my counseling skills through
coursework and internships, which significantly enhanced my ability to support clients effectively.

Studying at Apollo University was a transformative experience, offering me opportunities to develop new skills and
achieve milestones in my career. After completing my postgraduation, I began my career as a Child Psychologist and
Behavior Therapist at Pinnacle Blooms Network Autism Care Center, where I gained extensive experience in counseling
and psychotherapy. With a strong desire to make mental health support more accessible, I continue to explore
innovative approaches to therapy and intervention.

I believe psychology is not only just a subject to be studied but a field that is truly understood through practical
experience. Looking back, I am grateful for the knowledge, guidance, and opportunities that Apollo University

professional expertise by taking on administrative roles and working as a wellness coach, promoting mental health
awareness.

Currently, she serves as a Consultant at Manojagrithi, a mental health organization based in Hyderabad dedicated to
promoting psychological well-being and building the capacity of mental health professionals.

Through Manojagrithi, Vijaya Lakshmi has conducted numerous workshops, awareness programs, and counseling sessions
for students, employees, and the elderly, making a meaningful difference in the community.

Major Achievements and Impact:

• Successfully works as a Freelance Counselor and Consultant at Manojagrithi, Hyderabad, an NGO dedicated to
  mental health advocacy.
• Helps individuals overcome anxiety, stress, and personal challenges through therapy and counseling.
• Conducted stress management and motivational webinars for students, particularly those preparing for
  competitive examinations.
• Played an instrumental role in mental health education, delivering sessions on topics like neuroplasticity,
  personality disorders, and cognitive distortions.
• Actively participated in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training, further strengthening her therapeutic
  skills.

Introduction:
I am Kanneti Hemanth Sai, a proud postgraduate of MBA (Hospital and Healthcare Management) from Apollo University,
Chittoor. My journey into the world of business and management began with a strong interest in leadership and
strategic thinking, which has since evolved into a rewarding career in the corporate sector.

Postgraduate Education at Apollo University:
During my time at Apollo University (2022–2024), I specialized in Hospital and Healthcare Management, actively
participating in academic activities, case studies, and industry-focused projects. The university provided a perfect
blend of theoretical knowledge, practical training, and exceptional mentorship, which laid the foundation for my
professional development.

I also undertook a research project titled “A Project Report on Aseptic Control in Operation Theater”, which was
successfully published in the International Journal of Life Sciences and Pharma Research (IJLBPS).

Career Journey:
After completing my post-graduation, I began my career as an IL Shayak at ICICI Lombard GIC, where I gained hands-on
experience in insurance processes, claims approvals, hospital empanelments, and building strong relationships with
hospitals as well as patients.

I am honored to share that I was the first student from the first batch of Apollo University to secure a campus
placement at my very first attempt, with a competitive package. I am deeply grateful to my Dean, esteemed faculty
members, and the placement officer, whose unwavering support and guidance were instrumental in this achievement.
