Overview
The 4-year Bachelor of Science in Emergency and Trauma Care Technology or B.Sc. (Emergency and Trauma Care Technology) is a UG program. It involves the study of disease processes and specific procedures and medical skills to handle emergency/ traumatic/ critical cases.
Emergency medicine is a field of practice based on the knowledge and skills required for the prevention, diagnosis, and management of the acute and urgent aspects of illness and injury affecting patients of all age groups with a full spectrum of undifferentiated physical and behavioral disorders.
It is a specialty in which time is critical. The Emergency Medical team takes care of a patient presenting with acute emergencies. The curriculum is developed to educate students and transform them into highly skilled Emergency medical technologists.
