As per the guidelines of University Grants Commission (UGC) D.O No. 152-8/2020(IC) dated 13 January 2021 and in conformity with the resolutions of the Governing Body, the Directorate of International Affairs (DIAF) was established in The Apollo University on 13-09-2024. The directorate is headed by a Director designed to advance the university’s mission of promoting international collaborations, partnerships, student exchange progrmmes and research enhancements with global universities. The vision of the Directorate is to position the University as a leader in the international education platforms and foster collaborate relationship with global institutions. The Directorate is responsible for the enrichment activities for academic experience of international students and act as a central hub for managing communication in terms of innovation, research and outreach.
From welcoming and supporting the foreign students, the directorate fosters global partnerships to establish strategic alliances with international universities and research institutions for exchange programs and to address global challenges in health education. The core objectives of the directorate includes enhancement of international recruitments by attracting the diverse pool of international students promoting a cross-cultural exchange and global footprints of the University.

Core Objectives
- The directorate is responsible for communicating information related to admission process of foreign students and engage in promotional activities for brand promotion.
- The Directorate is the single point of contact for initiation and carry forward of collaborations with foreign institutions and act as a liaison body between foreign students and sponsoring institutions.
- The directorate will address the grievances of the foreign students and shall be the guiding point of contact for registrations with FRRO/e-FRRO.
- By building network with fellow students, the directorate extends help to foreign students to keep up a healthy campus lifestyle managing effective communication.
