Name of the Activity: “Awareness Program on Sanitary hygiene”
The objective/s of the Activity:
- To increase awareness about menstrual hygiene for 8th and 9th class girl students
- To provide high quality sanitary napkins
- To ensure safe disposal of sanitary napkins in an environmentally friendly manner
- To help girls build self-esteem
- To empower girls for greater socialization
Outcome:
It can help reduce:
- Reproductive tract infections, medical illnesses and unsafe practices
