| The objective/s of the Activity | Our first-year students participated in a Hackathon hosted at Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College in Pondicherry, showcasing their innovative idea entitled “Fisherman Rescue Device”. The hackathon provided a platform for these budding engineers to channel their creativity and problem-solving skills into addressing real-world challenges faced by the fishing community. |
| Outcome | The primary objective of the Fisherman Rescue Device is to enhance the safety of fishermen during their operations at sea. The device is designed to provide quick and efficient assistance in emergency situations, ensuring the well-being of fishermen who often face unpredictable and hazardous conditions. |
