Dr. Lokesh Ravi holds a graduate degree in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, and a postgraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Kingston University, London, UK. He completed his Ph.D. at Vellore Institute of Technology and has also obtained a Medical Laboratory Technician certification from Bharat Sevak Samaj, a National Development Agency promoted by the Government of India.

With over six years of teaching experience in esteemed institutions, including MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru, and St. Joseph’s University, Bengaluru, Dr. Lokesh brings extensive research experience from VIT University, Vellore as Research Associate. Additionally, he served as Duty Manager at Boots, The Chemists in London, UK, and has supervised more than 80 undergraduate and postgraduate student projects. He was honored with the APJ Abdul Kalam Young Scientist Award from the Society of Chemical and Synthetic Biology.

Dr. Lokesh has an impressive record of 72 published articles in international and national journals and holds seven patents. His academic contributions include 36 book chapters and an e-book for UG, PG, and Ph.D. students. He has organized three international and national conferences and has secured Rs. 5 lakh in funding from St. Joseph’s University, Bengaluru, for his research project. Dr. Lokesh is also an active reviewer for several international journals including International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, (Elsevier), Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics (Taylor & Francis), Chemistry & Biodiversity (Wiley), Chemistry Select (Wiley) and 3 Biotech (Springer).
