International Lecture on ‘Healthcare IT and Opportunities’ by Dr. Janki Raman, Australia.

The School of Management, TAU organized the 5th International Lecture for MBA Hospital and Healthcare students today (August 31, 2024) as part of its International Lecture Series on “Healthcare Management.” Dr. Janki Raman, Senior Technical Business Analyst and Product Owner at Chirpn IT Solutions in Sydney, Australia, delivered an insightful lecture titled “Healthcare IT and Opportunities.” Dr. Raman shared his journey from being an MBA Healthcare student to becoming a healthcare business analyst. He emphasized the essential tools and skills needed for students aspiring to become healthcare IT professionals. Key areas highlighted included SQL, Tableau Software, and Artificial Intelligence, alongside other critical requirements for success in the field. Drawing on his nearly six years of experience with Infosys, Dr. Raman underscored the importance of developing IT skills in addition to domain knowledge. The session concluded with a question-and-answer segment where Dr. Raman addressed queries about healthcare IT job opportunities, HL7 standards, and more. The event ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Charu Vinayasree, an MBA student in Hospital and Healthcare Management.”
