Rolling Advertisement for Ph.D. Admission

The Apollo University offers Ph.D. in both Part time and Fulltime modes following the UGC rules and regulations. Our Ph.D. program is designed to cultivate advanced research skills, critical thinking, and independent inquiry. The program provides a supportive and dynamic academic environment equipped with adequate research facilities, access to academic resources, and opportunities for interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary collaborations.

    Emphasizing cutting edge research in computer science engineering, information technology, Electronics and Communication engineering, VLSI and Embedded System. Mathematics and Physics. Gender Studies, Diaspora Studies, Arab-American Literature.

  • Focus on social work, medical& psychiatric social work, youth, industrial social work, biocultural anthropology, medical anthropology, ethnography, cultural studies, tribal studies, rural and urban development, human rights, evidence generation (Systematic Review and evidence gap maps) and related fields.

  • Concentrating on research in Public Health, Clinical Research, Psychology, Biomedical Sciences, Imaging Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Renal Dialysis, Physiotherapy, Genetics and Genomics, Technological Development in Health Sciences, Computational Biology, Microbiology and Biochemistry, Health Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Sports Psychology

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Completed a 1-year (2-semester) Master’s degree after a 4-year undergraduate degree, with at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.
  • Or
  • Completed a 2-year (4-semester) Master’s degree after a 3-year undergraduate degree, with at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.
  • Or
  • Completed an M.Phil. program, including coursework, with at least 55% aggregate marks.

Selection Process

The selection process for the Ph.D. program involves:

Entrance Examination: A comprehensive exam assessing knowledge and research aptitude.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview to discuss their research proposal and academic background.
Final Selection: Candidates will be selected based on their academic credentials, research proposal, performance in the entrance examination, and interview.
