Ms. Subashree. K is an Assistant Professor and Programme Coordinator for the Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) Programme at The Apollo University. In addition to her academic role, she holds key responsibilities as an AHS ERP Coordinator and a Member of the Examination Committee in AHS.

Before joining The Apollo University, she worked as a Faculty in the Department of Emergency and Trauma Care Technology and Critical Care Technology in Saveetha University, gained valuable experience in training students in emergency medical interventions.
She completed her B.Sc. in Emergency Room and Trauma Care Technology from Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, Chennai, and pursued her Postgraduate M.Sc degree in Trauma Care Management from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. She was awarded the Shri Arjun Singh Gold Medal (2022) for academic excellence during her post-graduation.
She has successfully completed BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification courses and has actively participated in numerous international conferences, webinars, and workshops related to Pre-Hospital Care.
Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Emergency Medical Technology Programme at The Apollo University and has successfully completed her Pre-Ph.D. examinations. Her research areas include:

Postgraduate Research: Renal Calculi
Beyond her teaching responsibilities, she plays a key role in academic leadership and program development at The Apollo University. She is actively involved in:

Student Mentorship: Guiding students in research projects and skill-based training.
Educational Initiatives & Skill Development: Organizing Webinars,workshops, training sessions, and certification programs to enhance pre-hospital care education.
