- Served in the industry for about a decade and switched over to academia and is serving for more than three decades and currently working for the prestigious Apollo group of educational institutions as the Controller of Examinations.
- So far guided and supervised 10 PhD scholars and 15 MPhil scholars successfully to obtain their respective research degrees.
- A National level Trainer under International Labour Organization’s ILO’s-IPEC programme;
- Served as Board of Studies Member in Social Sciences in Tamilnadu State Council for Higher Education (TANSCHE),
- Government of Tamilnadu has nominated me as a Non-Official Member in Tamilnadu prisons for the early release of life term prisoners.;
- Currently serving a Peer Team Member in NAAC ;
- Authored 5 books and edited 2 books
- Adjudicated many PhD thesis of south Indian Universities.
- Life member in ISPSW, NIPM
- Established a Multimodal Material Preparation Centre , first of its kind in Tamilnadu , in Bharathiar university for the benefit of differently abled students in the region.
- Served as Editor in Chief in the editorial board of Asian Review of Social Sciences(ARSS)
