Mr. A. Ajith Kumar as Lecturer in the Department of Physiotherapy, Division of Allied Health Sciences, School of Health Sciences, The Apollo University, effective June 2, 2025.

Mr. Ajith Kumar holds a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, Chennai, and a master’s degree in Physiotherapy with a specialization in Orthopaedics and Traumatology from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. He has also earned a Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) from the Capri Institute of Manual Therapy.

With around 2 years of teaching experience at Malla Reddy University, Hyderabad, Mr. Ajith Kumar has contributed significantly in both academic and administrative capacities, serving as Head of Department, Chairman – Board of Studies, Research Head, and various key roles such as NAAC & NBA Coordinator, IQAC Coordinator, Convener – Institution’s Innovation Council, and Exam Cell Coordinator.

He has successfully organized two Faculty Development Programs, one workshop, and coordinated academic conferences. Clinically, he has served as a Physiotherapist at JK Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre, Chennai, and has undertaken several academic projects in his studies and employment. He has also participated in several conferences and hands-on workshops, including Kinesio Taping and Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation.
