Dr. K. Suresh holds a Ph.D. in Psychology of Ageing from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, with a specialization in Health & Ageing Psychology, Disability, and Counselling. His research focuses on psychological issues among elderly residents in senior care homes. He has over 15 years of research and teaching experience and currently serves as an Academic Counselor at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, S.V. Arts College, Tirupati. Dr. Suresh has contributed to major research projects under UGC, ICSSR, and ICMR. He has 4+ years of professional counselling experience, including work at NIMHANS, HMRI-104, and ARDSI. He holds additional qualifications in Guidance & Counselling, Addiction Management, and Community Mental Health. He has authored two books and contributed to 14 journal publications, including both national and international journals. Dr. Suresh has actively participated in over 25 national and international conferences. His work centers on mental health promotion and geriatric psychological care.
