COURSE OVERVIEW

The Master of Medical Laboratory Science (MMLS) is a competency-based postgraduate program designed to provide advanced knowledge, technical expertise, and research skills in diagnostic laboratory sciences. The program integrates key disciplines including Clinical Microbiology, Heamatology and Blood transfusion, Histology and Cytology, Clinical Biochemistry, Immunology, and Molecular Diagnostics, with strong emphasis on clinical application and evidence-based practice.
Aligned with the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) guidelines, the curriculum focuses on outcome-based education, laboratory quality management, and advanced diagnostic techniques. Students receive hands-on training, clinical exposure, and research experience, preparing them for roles in healthcare, research, and academia.
