| The objective/s of the Activity | Our first-year students participated in a Hackathon hosted at Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College in Pondicherry, showcasing their innovative idea entitled “Fisherman Rescue Device”. The hackathon provided a platform for these budding engineers to channel their creativity and problem-solving skills into addressing real-world challenges faced by the fishing community. |

The device is designed to provide quick and efficient assistance in emergency situations, ensuring the well-being of fishermen who often face unpredictable and hazardous conditions. |
