Ms. Maheswari M is an accomplished optometry professional, having completed her Bachelor’s degree in Optometry from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, and her Master’s degree in the same field from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal.

She brings with her around 2 years of teaching experience, having served at Akash Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, and Mohan Babu University, Tirupati. In her academic journey, she has successfully guided undergraduate student projects, showcasing her commitment to nurturing the next generation of optometry professionals. Ms. Maheswari has also taken up several key administrative roles, including serving as Exam Cell Coordinator, External Examiner, Institutional Scientific Committee Coordinator, and Course Coordinator.

A passionate educator and practitioner, Ms. Maheswari has actively contributed to professional development by organizing one workshop, one conference, and two webinar series. Her clinical exposure is extensive, with hands-on experience in optometric instruments, binocular vision assessment, and assistance in various clinical procedures during her internship at Sri Ramachandra Institute. Additionally, she has engaged in community outreach, working alongside Primary Health Centres, Community Health Centres, and District Hospitals in Udupi, reflecting her commitment to public health and service.
