Closing Ceremony of ADHYAY 2025 Highlights Opportunities Beyond the Classroom at The Apollo University

The grand curtains of ADHYAY 2025 fell on the 18th of August, in a ceremony that was as much a celebration of new beginnings as it was a solemn invocation of future promise. Commenced on the 6th of August, 2025, embracing the new batch of students, the first phase of Adhyay 2025 welcomed the fresh batch of students from the School of Technology (SoT), the School of Management, the Departments of Biomedical Sciences, and Public Health. The valedictory session unfolded with an aura of grace and academic precision, marking the finale of the induction programme designed to usher the fresh cohort of students into the vibrant academic and cultural embroidery of The Apollo University.
The distinguished presence of Prof. M. Potharaju, Registrar of The Apollo University, as the Chief Guest of the occasion, lent the event a resonance that will linger in the memories of the newly inducted students. In his persuasive address, Prof. Potharaju did not merely deliver a formal speech; he opened his heart and spoke with candor, weaving a narrative that was both inspiring and transformative. He painted before the students a portrait of The Apollo University as a sanctum where the dual streams of technical brilliance and soft skill refinement converge seamlessly. He emphasized that education here is not a dry acquisition of degrees but a holistic cultivation of intellect and character — a rare fusion of knowledge and wisdom, of proficiency and empathy.
His words cascaded like a river of inspiration, reminding the students that the institution was not merely a place of study but a scope of opportunities, where aspirations could spread their wings, nourished equally by innovation and values. He urged them to grasp the opportunities that TAU unfolds, to allow themselves to be moulded not only into competent professionals but also into humane citizens of the world.
The solemnity of the occasion was further adorned by the presence of the Deans of various schools — Dr. D. Jagadeesan, Professor and Dean (I/C), School of Technology and Director, Directorate of IQAC; Prof. Dr. K. Bhaskar Reddy, Professor & Dean, School of Health Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences; and Dr. Ramaiah Itumalla, Dean (I/C), School of Management. Each of these heads of the schools graced the event with their dignified presence, standing as custodians of wisdom, caretakers of learning, and symbols of the scholastic depth that The Apollo University embodies.
The summary and evaluation of the two-week long induction programme was gracefully presented by Dr. T. Vivekanandhan, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs and Associate Professor, SoT. With eloquence and clarity, he encapsulated the essence of the sessions, highlighting the knowledge shared, the skills imparted, and the inspiration instilled in the young learners.
The credit for the seamless execution of the extended induction journey was attributed to the meticulous planning and thoughtful design led by Dr. M. Jeevan Kumar, Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Academic Affairs. The valedictory session opened with a warm and graceful welcome by Dr. Hima Bindu G. B., Associate Professor and Programme Coordinator, CSE, whose words set the tone of cordiality and celebration for the occasion.
The session was not a closure but a commencement — the conclusion of an induction journey and the inauguration of a lifelong pursuit of excellence. As the young minds dispersed from the hall, they carried within them the lingering resonance of Prof. Potharaju’s words: that The Apollo University is a land where dreams meet discipline, and vision meets virtue.
Thus ended the valedictory session of ADHYAY 2025 — not in silence, but in the quiet roar of inspired determination, in the hushed yet resolute promise of students ready to script their destinies on the canvas of the future.
