Mr. Rakesh Kumar Yadav is an Assistant Professor and Programme Coordinator of Optometry in the Department of Allied Health Sciences at The Apollo University, currently pursuing his Ph.D. He holds a B.Sc. in Optometry from Sankara College of Optometry and a master’s degree from MAKAUT, West Bengal. With extensive clinical and academic experience across reputed institutions, he specializes in optics, binocular vision, contact lenses, low vision, and ocular sciences. He has published research on ocular health among welders and actively participates in conferences and workshops. He also serves in key university committees and mentors students, with strong interests in vision therapy and community eye care.
