Dr. Rajasekhar is a graduate of Pharmacy from Dr. M. G. R. Medical University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and holds a Post Graduate degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Adhiparasakthi College of Pharmacy, Melmaruvathur, Tamil Nadu. He completed his Ph.D. at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT University), Vellore, and has also earned a Diploma in Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad.
With over 14 years of teaching experience, Dr. Rajasekhar has previously served at Sri Venkateswara College of Pharmacy (Autonomous), Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. He has supervised over 35 student projects at both UG and PG levels and held numerous administrative roles, including Head of Department, Member of Board of Studies, Academic Council, Research Head, NAAC and NBA Coordinator, NIRF & ARIIA Coordinator, IQAC Coordinator, Exam Cell Coordinator, and Ph.D. External Examiner. He is a member of several prestigious associations, including the Indian Association of College of Pharmacy (IACP), the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), and Eudoxia University, USA.
Dr. Rajasekhar has made significant contributions to research, publishing 32 articles in International and National Journals and securing 7 patents. He has authored 3 book chapters for UG and PG students and organized 3 Faculty Development Programs, 12 Workshops, and 1 Conference. His research efforts have been supported by funding totaling Rs. 57,56,718 from University Grants Commission (UGC), Department of Science and Technology (DST), and the American Chemical Society (ACS). He has also served as Editor, Editorial Board Member, and Reviewer for various National and International Journals including RSC Advances, Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry and Journal of Ethnopharmacology and Toxicology.
