Dr. Rupasree earned her B. Pharmacy degree from Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati, and completed her postgraduate studies in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad. She obtained her Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology from Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati.

With over a year of experience as an Academic Consultant at Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Dr. Rupasree has published six articles in national and international journals and holds two patents. She has also authored two books/e-books for students published by Walnut and Elsevier.
