Dr. D. Kothandan is a graduate from PVKN Govt Degree College, Chittoor, did his post graduation M. Sc (Instrumentation) and Ph. D, from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur. He also holds M. Sc (Physics) from Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, Patna.  He has over 26 years of teaching experience. 

He worked as a Scientist in NAL, Bangalore and Service Engineer in Hind High Vacuum (Pvt) Ltd, Bangalore. He worked as Coordinator, Research and Development in SITAMS and Board of Studies- Member for Engineering Physics.  He has received Academic Performance Award during the academic year 2013-14 from his previous employer.

He has organized 2 International Conference, 2 National Conference 2 Workshops, and participated in several conferences, seminars and workshops and has published 18 Research papers in reputed Journals and wrote 2 Books.
