Bhagyashree Mishra is from Cuttack, Odisha, and completed a Master’s in Microbiology at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Bhagyashree conducted thesis work at ICAR-National Rice Research Institute (NRRI), Cuttack, Odisha.

She has teaching experience as an Assistant Professor at IMT Pharmacy College, Puri, where she taught Microbiology to Bachelor in Pharmacy (BPharm) and Allied and Applied Science (DMLT, DMRT, BMLT) students for 4 years. Additionally, Bhagyashree achieved the ICAR-AICE SRF/JRF-2022 fellowship in Microbiology.

For 3 years, Bhagyashree has been the in-charge of the Department of Allied Science and has held various administrative roles such as Exam Cell Coordinator of the AHS Department, in-charge of the Microbiology Laboratory, and PCI Semester Paper Evaluator, and External Examiner.
