Transforming Spaces: Apollo Knowledge City’s Triumph in Special Swachhata Campaign 4.0
As part of the nationwide Special Campaign 4.0 for Swachhata, The Apollo Knowledge City, encompassing The Apollo University, Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMSR), Apollo College of Nursing (ACoN), and Apollo College of Pharmacy (ACoP), has successfully conducted a campus-wide drive to promote cleanliness and organizational efficiency.
The campaign, in collaboration with the NSS Wing and the Eco Club, focused on three key objectives: weeding out outdated files from schools and other establishments, organizing essential records, and deep cleaning offices and classrooms. The drive aimed not only to improve the physical environment of the institutions but also to cultivate a culture of cleanliness, responsibility, and positive energy within the community.
To ensure the effectiveness of the campaign, a special committee, consisting of members from various departments, schools, and colleges, conducted thorough inspections and surprise visits across the campus. The cleaning activities were assessed based on cleanliness, orderliness, and adherence to Swachhata standards. Departments were scored accordingly, fostering a sense of healthy competition and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
The event was a resounding success, with departments achieving high standards of cleanliness and ensuring their spaces were well-organized and welcoming. The efforts resulted in a more efficient and positive work and learning environment across the campus.
Class champions, deans, heads of departments, coordinators, and students worked in unison to make the campaign a triumphant one. Their enthusiastic participation and teamwork were fundamental in driving the success of this initiative, which not only resulted in a cleaner campus but also strengthened the spirit of collaboration within the Apollo community.
The Special Campaign 4.0 for Swachhata has left a lasting impact on The Apollo Knowledge City, creating a fresh, vibrant atmosphere that will continue to inspire students, faculty, and staff alike. A week ahead cleaning is organized for hostels to ensure clean hostel ambience free from cults and unnecessary records. A proclamation rally is also arranged as part of the campaign which will be held on 29th of October. The Apollo Knowledge City has arranged a month long cleanliness drive as part of the campaign combining 8 different events.
