The Apollo University and University of Hyderabad Renew MoU to Strengthen Educational and Research Collaboration

Hyderabad, 06 August 2026:
The Apollo University (TAU) and the University of Hyderabad (UoH) renewed their existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the University of Hyderabad campus, to advance academic quality, interdisciplinary research, and institutional collaboration. The renewal builds upon the long-standing partnership between the two universities and aims to further tighten the cooperation in teaching, research, curriculum development, faculty and student engagement, and knowledge exchange.
The renewed Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Shri Anil Kumar S., Registrar, who will serve as the Coordinator for The Apollo University, and Prof. G. V. R. K. Acharyulu, Dean, School of Management, who will serve as the Coordinator for the University of Hyderabad, to facilitate and oversee the collaborative initiatives under the partnership.
The exchange happened in the the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Nitin M. Nagarkar, Vice Chancellor, The Apollo University; Prof. J. Anuradha, Vice Chancellor (i/c), University of Hyderabad; Prof. (Dr.) Alfred J. Augustine, Pro Vice Chancellor (Academics), TAU; and Dr. Prabhakar K., Head – Academic Affairs, Apollo Knowledge. Representing the University of Hyderabad were also present Dr. Devesh Nigam, Registrar; and Mr. Ranjit Kumar, Faculty, School of Management.
The renewed agreement supports the collaborative initiatives established under the earlier MoU and provides a framework for expanding academic and research partnerships between the two institutions. The areas of collaboration include joint research activities, faculty interactions and meetings to support curriculum development, academic and research information exchange, and institutional visits by faculty, researchers, and academic teams. The partnership also aims to create opportunities for students of both universities to enhance their knowledge and skills through collaborative academic initiatives.
A key focus of the renewed MoU is strengthening collaboration across the School of Life Sciences, School of Medical Sciences, and the School of Management, with particular emphasis on the disciplines of Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Public Health, Psychology, and Optometry. Through joint academic programmes, research initiatives, and knowledge-sharing activities, the partnership seeks to contribute to addressing contemporary healthcare and management challenges. The renewal of the MoU insist the continuing relationship between The Apollo University and the University of Hyderabad, paving the way for expanded opportunities for faculty, researchers, and students to support the culture of exchange and academic teamwork.
