Self-Assessment and Career Exploration (for AHS Students)
The Apollo Career Counselling Cell (ACCC), TAU held a career counselling session today (August 22, 2024) focused on “Self-Assessment and Career Exploration” for students in Allied Health Sciences. The session by Dr. Ramaiah Itumalla, Chairperson, ACCC emphasized the importance of self-evaluation for career planning, introducing students to tools like personal SWOT Analysis and the Johari Window to aid in self-assessment. Following the presentation, Mr. Kiran KV, Faculty Placement Coordinator and Chairperson of the ACCC, addressed students’ questions during a Q&A session on career exploration. A total of 83 students from various programs of School of Health Sciences, including BSc Physician Assistant, Optometry, Occupational Therapy, Medical Laboratory Technology, Anesthesiology, Imaging Technology, Renal Dialysis, Emergency Medical Technology, and Health Psychology, attended the session.”
