School of Management Enhances Administrative Space with New Dean’s Office

The School of Management (SoM), The Apollo University, inaugurated its new Dean’s Office on 06 May 2026 at Room No. 305, 3rd Floor, Pratap C. Reddy Knowledge Centre. The new administrative space was established to strengthen academic administration, improve coordination, and provide better support for students, faculty members, and departmental activities.

The inauguration with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony was held at 9.30 AM by Dr. H Vinod Bhat, Vice Chancellor, The Apollo University in the presence of university leadership, faculty members, administrative staff, and students. The programme began with traditional pooja rituals and lamp-lighting, before the formal the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Dr. H. Vinod Bhat, Vice Chancellor, The Apollo University, officially inaugurated the office and dedicated the space for the academic and administrative activities of the School of Management. The event was also attended by Dr. Nitin M. Nagarkar, Vice Chancellor Designate, The Apollo University, along with other university deans and officials.

During the interaction followed after the formal inauguration, the dignitaries spoke about the importance of strong academic administration and effective coordination while appreciating the efforts taken by the School of Management in creating a professional and student-friendly administrative environment. They also stated that the new office would help improve communication, planning, academic support, and departmental functioning.

The inauguration was attended by Dr. M. Potharaju, Registrar, TAU; Dr. Anil Kumar S, Additional Registrar, TAU; Dr. K. Bhaskar Reddy, Dean, School of Health Sciences; Dr. D. Jagadeesan, Dean, School of Technology; Dr. Shahanaz D, Dean, School of Management; Dr. Praneeth K.R, Assistant Professor, SOM; Dr. B. Kiran Kumar, Assistant Professor, SOM; Dr. R. Gayathiri, Assistant Professor, SOM; Mr. G. Badya Nayak, Assistant Professor, SOM; and Mrs. M. Gouri, Office Assistant, SOM.

Faculty members and students appreciated the newly established office and expressed that it would support academic activities and improve administrative efficiency within the School of Management. The programme concluded with a visit by leadership to the new office space, faculty rooms and interactions among the attendees.
