Online Webinar on International Pathways in Engineering – ESIGELEC M.Tech Programme
The Directorate of International Affairs, in association with the School of Technology, The Apollo University, successfully organized a webinar on "International Pathways in Engineering – ESIGELEC M.Tech Programme" on 10th July 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM via Microsoft Teams. The webinar aimed to create awareness among students about international higher education opportunities in engineering and provide valuable insights into pursuing an M.Tech program at ESIGELEC, France.
The technical session was delivered by Ms. Vidya Suresh, Head of the South Asia Office, ESIGELEC, France, who provided a comprehensive overview of the ESIGELEC M.Tech program. She elaborated on the admission process, eligibility criteria, scholarships, financial support, curriculum structure, internship opportunities, research facilities, student life in France, and post-graduation career prospects. The speaker also highlighted the advantages of studying engineering in France and the opportunities available for international collaboration, research, and employment in Europe. The interactive format enabled students to clarify their queries regarding admissions, scholarships, and higher education abroad, making the session highly engaging and informative.
The webinar witnessed enthusiastic participation from 111 final-year B.Tech students from the CSE, AIDS, AIML, and CS programs, along with three faculty members. The session covered vital domains, including international engineering education, the ESIGELEC M.Tech curriculum, admission procedures, financial assistance, European internship opportunities, career prospects, and student exchange programs. Participants appreciated the detailed guidance provided by the speaker and actively interacted throughout the session.
The program successfully enhanced students' awareness of international postgraduate education and motivated them to explore global academic and career milestones. Participants gained a clear understanding of international admission frameworks, scholarship opportunities, ESIGELEC's academic and research ecosystem, and the professional advantages of pursuing higher studies in France. The event was smoothly coordinated through the combined efforts of Dr. Keerthana Thankachan, Assistant Director of International Affairs, and Dr. C. Pakkiraiah, Assistant Professor of CSE and Assistant Director of Information and Communication Technology at The Apollo University.
