Dr. Ravi Raju Tatapudi, Pro-Chancellor of The Apollo University, was honoured with the prestigious Acharya Award by the Andhra Medical College Alumni of North America (AMCANA) during its 8th Biennial Meeting, held on 1 August 2026 in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, USA.
The Acharya Award recognizes distinguished contributions to medical education, research, and patient care. Dr. Ravi Raju was presented with the award in recognition of his decades-long commitment to advancing academic excellence, fostering clinical innovation, and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Adding to this recognition, Dr. Ravi Raju was also invited to deliver the M. Dasaradha Ram M.S., Ph.D., FRCS Memorial Oration, organized by the Jayanthi Charitable Foundation in collaboration with AMCANA.
