A Two-Day Technical Workshop on AWS Cloud Elastic Load Balancer Strategies for Scalable Solutions.
The School of Technology successfully organized a two-day workshop on Cloud Computing, conducted on 24th December 2024 and 26th December 2024. The event was spearheaded by esteemed faculty members, Dr. G. B. Himabindu and Dr. A. B. Manju, with Mr. D. Jeevan Kumar as the resource person. Mr. Kumar, a freelancer and academician with expertise in cloud administration and multiple certifications, delivered an engaging hands-on session titled “AWS Cloud Elastic Load Balancer Strategies for Scalable Solutions.”
The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with foundational and advanced concepts of cloud computing, focusing on the practical implementation of AWS Elastic Load Balancer (ELB) strategies. Key topics covered during the workshop included: Introduction to Cloud Computing: Exploring cloud architecture, service models, deployment models, and benefits. Hands-On Exercises: Participants practiced setting up virtual machines, web servers, and elastic load balancers while working through real-world scenarios. Auto Scaling: Techniques to scale resources dynamically based on demand. Linux Commands and Server Configuration: Practical insights into managing servers and deploying scalable solutions. Resources for Continued Learning: Guidance on leveraging free platforms and certification opportunities in AWS and Azure.
The workshop concluded with a discussion on global certification pathways and valuable resources for further exploration in cloud technologies. The practical approach and interactive sessions were highly appreciated by participants, fostering both skill development and academic curiosity. Around 70 students have registered, participated and got benefited from the workshop.
The organizers extends their gratitude to Mr. Jeevan Kumar for sharing his expertise, Dr. Sunil Kumar C, Dean, School of Technology, Dr. Jagadeesan, Associate Dean, School of Technology and to all attendees for their enthusiastic participation.
