Apollo Hospitals Education and Research Foundation (AHERF) is a Society registered under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana area) Public Societies Registration Act 1350 fasli on 8th June 1992 is the Sponsoring Body of “The Apollo University”. The Executive Committee of AHERF is headed by its President, Dr. Prathap C Reddy and supported by eight members, which include Office Bearers and Trustees.
AHERF, the Educational arm of Apollo Hospitals Group, provides Education, Training and Research activities in the quest for quality health care and to support the healthcare service delivery system. The main objective of AHERF is to establish, maintain and support Medical Colleges and promote the advancement of Research in Medicine, to Educate and train students of Nursing, Paramedics and Professional Managers to participate in the prevention and treatment of diseases.
Through its various Educational Institutions across the Country, it offers an array of Master’s, Baccalaureate, Fellowship Programmes, Diplomas and Certificate courses in Medical and Health Sciences, Hospital and Healthcare Management disciplines. In addition to carrying out in-house Educational courses and research activities, AHERF continues to establish and strengthen strategic partnerships with National/Internationally renowned institutes/universities and hospitals in India and abroad to develop Innovative Collaborative Educational and Research programmes.
