” The School of Management proudly hosted the 6th International Lecture on Hurdles in Strategic Planning in the Healthcare Sector on January 18th, 2025. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Madhavi Lalitha, Human Development Planning Expert , National Planning Council, Qatar. This session provided invaluable insights for the MBA Hospital and Healthcare Management students, who had the opportunity to engage with Dr. Madhavi’s wealth of experience in the field.
In her lecture, Dr. Madhavi explored the complexities of strategic planning within the healthcare sector, addressing both theoretical frameworks and practical challenges. She presented a series of real-world case studies, illustrating the multifaceted nature of healthcare strategy and emphasizing the critical hurdles that organizations face when attempting to align policy, resources, and outcomes effectively. Through her engaging presentation, Dr. Madhavi fostered a thought-provoking discussion that highlighted not only the key issues but also viable solutions for overcoming these challenges.
