National Youth Day Celebrated at The Apollo University with a Tribute to Swami Vivekananda

The Readers and Quiz Club of The Apollo University celebrated National Youth Day on January 10, 2025, with enthusiasm and admiration, commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The event highlighted the ideals and teachings of one of India’s greatest spiritual leaders, inspiring the youth to embrace his vision of selfless service and dedication to humanity.
The program was graced by Prof. A. Sethuramasubbiah, Controller of Examinations, who shared a compelling address on the transformative leadership of Swami Vivekananda. He emphasized the relevance of Vivekananda’s teachings in today’s world and his iconic message, “Serve humanity for its betterment,” which continues to resonate across generations. Dr. S. Shani, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, was also present, encouraging students to embody the values of courage, resilience, and self-belief that Swami Vivekananda advocated.
A floral tribute was paid to Swami Vivekananda’s portrait, followed by a captivating audio-visual presentation narrating his life, philosophy, and contributions.
