The Apollo University, under the aegis of its School of Technology, proudly hosted a transformative workshop titled “WebScripting using PHP” on August 3, 2024. This enlightening event was organized by CodeX, the university’s esteemed Coding Club, and featured distinguished resource persons, Dr. J Jegan and Dr. A B Manju, both esteemed Assistant Professors at the School of Technology.

Dr. J Jegan and Dr. A B Manju captivated the attendees with their profound insights into the realm of WebScripting using PHP. Their comprehensive sessions covered a spectrum of topics, from the basics of PHP to advanced scripting techniques, providing the participants with a robust foundation in website development.

Enthusiastic Participation:

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic 45 participation from the students of the School of Technology, who eagerly registered and engaged with the content. The interactive sessions facilitated a deeper understanding of the subject matter, allowing students to grasp complex concepts with ease.The feedback from the attendees was overwhelmingly positive. Students expressed a strong desire to continue their learning journey in web development, inspired by the knowledge and skills imparted during the workshop. The consensus was clear: the workshop not only met but exceeded expectations, igniting a passion for web development among the participants.

Organization and Support:

The event was meticulously organized by the dedicated faculty coordinators, Dr. G B Himabindu and Dr. A B Manju, whose unwavering commitment ensured the workshop’s success. Their efforts were complemented by the diligent student coordinators, whose support was instrumental in the smooth execution of the event.

The workshop concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Yugavardhan, the President of the Coding Club and a student of II B Tech CSE. He expressed gratitude to the resource persons, Dr. J Jegan and Dr. A B Manju, for their invaluable contributions and to everyone involved in making the event a resounding success. The student coordinators played a crucial role in ensuring the success of the event. The President, K. Yugavardan from CSE-B, demonstrated exceptional leadership. Vice Presidents T. Yashaswini Reddy from AI&DS-B and B. Vishnu Vardhan from CS provided significant support. The Executive Members, B. Balaji from AI&DS-A, T. Devaki Nandhan from CS, and M. Chihnithi Sre from AIML, contributed immensely to the event’s execution. Co-Ordinators M. Anjana from CSE-A, Monika, N. Vasudev, and Monisha from CSE-B, along with Sofiya Jahan and Janya Sri from AI&DS-A, N.B. Bhuvana Deepthi and R. Kishore from AI&DS-B, and J. Nikhil from AIML, all worked diligently to ensure every aspect of the event ran smoothly.
