Introduction
I am Kanneti Hemanth Sai, an MBA graduate in Hospital and Healthcare Management from The Apollo University, Chittoor, and currently pursuing my PhD in Business Administration at Turība University, Latvia.
My journey has developed through a combination of healthcare management education, professional experience, research, and continuous learning. I am passionate about healthcare management, healthcare quality, digital transformation, research, and organizational development.
Postgraduate Education at Apollo University
I completed my MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management at The Apollo University from 2022 to 2024, graduating with an A Grade and First Class. My time at Apollo University provided me with valuable academic knowledge, practical exposure with multiple internship experience and research experience, and professional guidance in healthcare management.
As a student of the first batch, I was honored to become the first student from the batch and from the university to secure a campus placement. The education, mentorship, practical learning, and support received from the University played an important role in preparing me for my professional journey.
Career Journey
After completing my MBA, I joined ICICI Lombard General Insurance as a Customer Service Manager (IL Sahayak), where I worked for 2½ years. My role involved healthcare insurance operations, hospital network management, claims coordination, customer service, compliance, and process improvement.
During my professional journey, I was recognized as a Pan India Top Performer for outstanding operational performance and customer service excellence. I was also recognized as Overall Top Performer in South Zone-I and Overall Top Performer in South Zone-II for exceptional and sustained performance.
Research & Academic Journey
My interest in research developed during my postgraduate studies, including my research project on Aseptic Control in Operation Theatre, which focused on infection prevention, patient safety, and healthcare quality. My research work has also resulted in academic publications and participation in national conferences.
I am currently pursuing my PhD in Business Administration at Turība University, Latvia, continuing my academic journey at an international level.
Giving Back to Apollo University
The support and guidance I received from Apollo University continue to remain an important part of my journey. As an alumnus, I look forward to contributing to the University community through knowledge sharing, student mentoring, academic interactions, research discussions, and industry-oriented learning.
I am grateful to my Dean, faculty members, mentors, and placement team at Apollo University for the guidance and opportunities that helped shape the foundation of my career.
