Sustainability and Green Campus Initiatives – The Apollo University The Apollo University is committed to developing a clean, green, environmentally responsible and sustainable campus through student participation, plantation activities, ecological awareness and responsible resource use. The University’s Green Campus initiatives are primarily driven through the Eco Club, NSS Units and student-led activities. The University also describes its campus as a lush green campus.

| 🌳 Tree Plantation & Green Cover Enhancement | Regular plantation drives across campus to increase green cover, biodiversity and ecological value. Recent drives included 75 saplings and 70 saplings, including fruit-bearing and medicinal plants. |
| 🌿 Eco Club Activities | The Eco Club conducts environmental awareness, plantation, biodiversity and conservation activities involving students and faculty. |
| 🧹 Clean & Green Campus Drives | Campus cleaning drives focusing on removal of plastic waste and garbage and maintaining clean surroundings under Swachhata Hi Seva and related campaigns. |
| 🌱 Campus Biodiversity & Tree Census | A Tree Census was conducted to identify and document campus trees and understand the distribution of plant species, supporting future conservation efforts. |
| 🪴 Plant Identification & Labelling | Students identified campus plants and prepared labels with common names, scientific names and uses, creating a living botanical learning resource. |
| 💧 Water Conservation Awareness | The Eco Club conducted the “Green Pledge Wall – My Commitment to a Greener Campus”, encouraging faculty and the university community to adopt responsible water-conservation practices. |

| 🌳 Karthika Vanasamaaraadhana Green Drive | Campus-wide plantation activities are undertaken in association with the State Forest Department initiative, promoting environmental protection and increased green cover. |
