The School of Technology, The Apollo University, inaugurated its Electronics Laboratory on 30th May 2026 at the Dr. Prathap C. Reddy Knowledge Centre, First Floor. The inauguration ceremony commenced with traditional pooja rituals seeking blessings for the successful functioning of the facility. This was followed by the ceremonial ribbon cutting by Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. H. Vinod Bhat in the presence of Dr. Nitin M. Nagarkar, Vice-Chancellor (Designate), marking the formal inauguration of the lab.

The newly established Electronics Lab has been designed to support practical learning, experimentation, and research activities in the field of electronics and electrical engineering. Equipped with modern experimental kits, advanced instruments, electronic measurement devices, and learning resources, the laboratory will provide students with hands-on exposure to both fundamental and advanced concepts. The facility has been established to strengthen laboratory-based learning in Digital Logic Design (DLD) and Basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering (BEEE) courses, enabling students to gain practical experience that complements classroom instruction.

The laboratory will also serve as a dedicated platform for M.Tech students specializing in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems, of School of Technology supporting academic projects, prototype development, laboratory experimentation, and research activities. Through access to modern equipment and practical training, students will be able to enhance their technical knowledge, design capabilities, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Following the inauguration, the dignitaries toured the facility and reviewed the various laboratory setups and equipment. Faculty members and Dr. K Thirumalesu, Lab Technician, School of Technology, explained the objectives of the laboratory and demonstrated how the facility would be utilized to facilitate experiential learning and research. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Prof. M. Potharaju, Registrar; Mr. Anil Kumar S., Additional Registrar; Dr. Ramya Ramakrishnan, Associate Dean-AIMSR and Unit Head; Mr. S.
