PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

PhD in Management – School of Management, The Apollo University Chittoor A researchintensive doctoral programme with focus on Management and Hospital & Healthcare Management, designed to develop independent researchers, policy thinkers, and senior practitioners able to lead research, teaching, and practice in management and healthcare management. 

The programme combines advanced coursework, supervised research, and thesis work. It emphasizes applied and interdisciplinary research linked to all areas of management and hospital and healthcare management. Students are required to produce a scholarly thesis as a prerequisite for the award of the degree.

  1. To prepare scholars for leadership roles in academia, research institutions, industry, and healthcare organizations by strengthening their skills in teaching, scholarly communication, and knowledge dissemination

Programme Curriculum

    • Admission Fee (One-Time Fee): ₹15,000 
    • Caution Deposit (Refundable): ₹5,000 
    • Full Time Mode Program fee (per Annum): ₹20,000 
    • Part Time Mode Program fee (per Annum): ₹50,000 
    • Scholarships will be available based on merit or financial need. 
    • Eligible students can apply for Government or university-sponsored financial aid programs. 
    • Detailed information on available scholarships will be provided by the University’s admission office. 
    • If a student qualifies UGC-JRF/NET or AP-CET in Management, he or she is exempted from the entrance examination as per UGC norms and may directly appear for the interview. 
    • Entrance and selection: Shortlisting through a written test and/or research proposal evaluation followed by an interview with the Research Committee. 
    • Modespecific requirements: Parttime candidates must typically demonstrate employment in a relevant organization and obtain employer consent for research commitments. 
    • Academic qualification (as per UGC guidelines): Master’s degree [MBA, MHA, MDHM, PGDHM (2 years full time)] from a recognized university with minimum qualifying marks as per university/UGC norms.
