Dr. G.Asha completed her B. E degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Adhiparasakthi College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai and M.Tech degree in Applied Electronics from Dr. M. G. R Educational and Research Institute, Chennai. She did her Ph.D in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya (SCSVMV University), Kanchipuram. She has also obtained additional qualification in AICTE–QIP-PG Certificate Program in AI and Data Science for Smart Health Care at IIT(ISM), Dhanbad and she has completed 3 NPTEL Courses.

Dr. G. Asha has over 19 years of teaching experience. She has supervised over 50+ students’ projects at UG and PG Levels. She has played various administration roles such as Head of Department, NAAC and NBA department Coordinator, Alumni Coordinator, Women Empowerment Cell Coordinator, Tamil Nadu Naan Mudhalvan Scheme in-charge and Anti-Ragging Cell Coordinator. She is member of ISTE and GSTE. She has published 15 articles in International and National Journals, and has 8 patents and one Book chapter. She has organized one Faculty Development Programs, 10 Workshops/Seminars and one Conferences. She is Chief Editor of IJIMER Journal.
