Ms. Nivetha holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from St. Joseph’s College of Arts and Science for Women, Hosur, and a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur Campus. She has submitted her Ph.D. thesis in English Language Teaching (ELT)/Applied Linguistics at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore. She has also qualified the UGC NET in English in 2019 and 2022.

She has further enhanced her academic and research expertise by completing the edX certification course on Instructional Design and Technology: Learning Theories, offered by USMx (University of Maryland), the VIT Winter Training School certificate course on Data Analysis and Modeling using MS Excel/Power BI, and the VIT Value-Added Course on Python for Data Analysis and Data Visualization.

Her research interests include English Language Teaching, Applied Linguistics, Second Language Acquisition, Language Learning Strategies, Language Assessment, Educational Technology, AI in Language Education, Multilingualism, and Learner Autonomy.

She has three years of experience as a Teaching-cum-Research Assistant at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, gained during her Ph.D. programme.

She has published three research articles in International Journals, including two Scopus-indexed publications, and has authored one book chapter. She has also presented one paper at an International Conference and serves as a reviewer for International journals.
