Mrs. Sonika C as Assistant Professor (T) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), School of Technology, The Apollo University (TAU), effective 15 December 2025. Mrs. Sonika C holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Ananthapur, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the same university. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirapalli, with a specialization in Machine Learning and Microservices. She brings with her over six years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor, having served at NBKR Institute of Science and Technology, Vidyanagar, Nellore; Sreenivasa Institute of Technology and Management Studies, Chittoor; and MJR College of Engineering and Technology, Chittoor. She has successfully supervised more than 24 undergraduate student projects. Mrs. Sonika C has published five research articles in international journals and is also the co-author of a book on Web Application Technology. Her areas of expertise include Python Programming, Machine Learning Applications, Database Management Systems, Software Testing Methodologies, Programming for Problem Solving, Digital Logic Design (DLD), and Computer Organization (CO). Her research interests focus on Software Engineering, Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture, Serverless Computing, and Machine Learning.
