He is currently working as a Professor at the School of Management Studies, The Apollo University, Saketa, Murkambattu, Chittoor, Andra Pradesh. He has taught, guided research, conducted training and capacity building, etc at various levels over 30 years. He has done 40 research and consultancy projects and 25 publications. He has been a member of various professional and academic bodies and organisations. He is a Certified National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS), Appeal Committee Member of NQAS in the past, Internal Quality Assessor of NABH, qualified six sigma Black belt holder, member of the Policymaking on Patient safety Group, NHSRC, MoHFW, and an Expert member of Policy Making of Human Factors in Patient Safety, WHO. He has designed Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration (EPGDHA), Post Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Quality Management (PGDHQM), Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration (PGDHA), Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration – Afghanistan (EPGDHA-Afghanistan). He visited the London School of Economics as part of the faculty exchange programme, TISS- LSC collaboration, London, in 2010; Health Systems Management Centre, Birmingham University, as Visiting Fellow under the Faculty Exchange Programme in 2014 and conducted capacity building for nursing staff, medical officers and hospital Managers in Chittagong, Bangladesh, under the Sponsorship of Unilever Bangladesh, Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, Nepal and consulting and training programme for Apollo Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
